B30 Test laboratory for battery tests

Our filigree B30 test laboratory is a tribute to the constantly growing demands on rechargeable battery and battery technology. As an assembler, our maxim is to guarantee you the safety and longevity that your applications require.

Using advanced test systems such as the Cadex C8000 and the ATGB 1200, we carry out comprehensive and precise analyses on a wide range of battery types, from individual batteries to complex battery systems. Our tests ensure that your batteries can withstand stress, optimise their performance and are suitable for each specific application.

Cadex battery tests for maximum battery performance

The Cadex C8000 is a programmable test system specifically designed to thoroughly test and analyse a wide range of battery types. It offers users the flexibility and precision they need to ensure the full reliability of batteries. Among other things, the test system enables GSM pulse tests to be carried out and detailed current load profiles to be created. Thanks to the simulated loads, it is possible to test batteries independently of the application in the end device, enabling an objective and accurate performance assessment.

We use Cadex to check the safety circuits in the batteries and read the SMBus registers. This provides detailed information about the condition and reliability of the battery. The Cadex C8000 is our first choice because the assembly process involves truly comprehensive analyses. And without compromising on efficiency and costs.

ATGB 1200: the testing all-rounder

Our ATGB 1200 was developed by the BMZ Battery Assembly Centre. It is a universal testing device for a wide range of battery types. From Li-ion and Li-FePh to Li-titanate, NiCd, NiMH and lead-acid batteries. The ATGB 1200 offers extensive testing options that go beyond the basic functions. The device is ideal for applications that require flexibility and comprehensive test capacities.

In addition to cyclical charging and discharging and internal resistance measurement, the ATGB 1200 has a reconditioning function and pulse charging. Another special feature here is the power supply simulation. It makes it possible to test batteries with integrated charging electronics fully automatically. This is a decisive benefit when it comes to the use of battery systems that are integrated into complex applications. The large battery voltage range of 0.8 to 48 V and the adaptability of the charging and discharging current (up to 10 A, for discharges up to 50 A for short periods) guarantee a test environment that offers flexibility and precision.

With temperature monitoring via the ATGB 1200 and automated test sequences, measurement data is precisely recorded and documented. The USB PC connection ensures simple integration and control of the tests. This enables seamless analysis, which provides crucial information for the optimisation and safety of battery systems.
